I’ve noticed that one of the biggest challenges with P2P crypto trading is dealing with suspicious payments or users that don’t seem trustworthy.
For people who’ve been trading long term:
How do you verify buyers/sellers before accepting trades?
Do you only use verified users?
What payment methods do you avoid completely?
Have escrow systems actually helped reduce issues for you?
Any red flags you immediately look for before confirming a trade?
A lot of newer P2P platforms now focus heavily on verification, trade history, and dispute protection, but I’m curious what experienced traders are personally doing to stay safe in 2026.
