Gloss or matte PPF? Can't decide which finish to go for in Musaffah

So I'm finally taking my car in for paint protection film next week and I thought I had everything figured out until I actually started looking at the options and now I'm completely torn. I've got a dark grey Mercedes that I absolutely love the look of, and originally I was just going to go with a standard gloss PPF because I assumed that's what everyone does. But then I went to a couple of workshops in the Musaffah Industrial Area M9 to get quotes and one of them had a car in the showroom with a matte finish PPF and honestly, it looked incredible. It was so sleek and understated, completely different from the usual shiny cars you see everywhere. Now I'm stuck trying to decide which direction to go. I've been reading up on the differences and it seems like both options give you the same level of protection – same thickness, self-healing properties, UV resistance, all of that – so the decision really comes down to looks and maintenance . The gloss PPF basically preserves your car's original paint exactly as it is, gives it that wet, mirror-like shine that makes the colour pop, especially in sunlight, and it's apparently easier to maintain because you can use regular car shampoo and even ceramic coatings on top . But I've also read that gloss shows dust and swirl marks more easily, which is a consideration with all the sand and dust we have here . The matte or satin PPF on the other hand gives you that stealthy, muted look that completely changes the personality of the car, hides minor imperfections and dust better because there's no reflection, but it requires more careful maintenance with specific matte-safe products and you absolutely cannot use wax or polish on it because that will create shiny patches that ruin the uniform finish . I'm leaning slightly towards the matte because I like the idea of my car looking unique, but I'm worried about the extra maintenance because honestly, I'm not the most diligent car washer and I don't want to end up with a film that looks bad because I used the wrong product. I've been looking at a few shops around the M9 area like Zenfo Auto Services and Exotic Car Care that offer both Gloss & matte PPF options in Musaffah Industrial Area M9 and have good reviews for their installations . Has anyone here actually gone through this decision process recently and can share their experience? Did you regret going matte because of the maintenance or do you love it? And for those who went gloss, do you ever wish you'd done something different? I really need some real-world input because I'm going back and forth so much I'm starting to drive myself crazy and I need to make a decision before my appointment next week.
