I was asking myself the same thing, so here is what I found. A well-chosen MBA can recover its cost within 1–3 years, so compare the online mba fees of ₹50,000–₹4,00,000 with your expected salary jump.
Freshers usually move from ₹2.5–4 LPA to about ₹4–6 LPA. With 2–5 years of experience, pay can rise from ₹4–6 LPA to ₹6–10 LPA. Professionals with 5+ years can move from ₹6–10 LPA to ₹10–18 LPA.
These gains only count if the degree is recognised, so choose a UGC-approved programme with the right specialisation. Also compare the total payable amount, including exam charges, re-exam fees and EMI processing fees, not just the headline fee.
Cheap but unrecognised courses can hurt your returns.
