Extradition Hub

Extradition Hub is the first global database dedicated entirely to extradition and European Arrest Warrant (EAW) case law, built around the concrete case. Extradition decisions are scattered across countries, languages and formats, so Extradition Hub brings them together to help lawyers, judges, prosecutors, researchers and students see how courts actually decide these cases. You can search by requested state (where the decision is made) and requesting state, browse by country or by country pair, and search by keyword (such as double criminality or torture) or by decision number. Each case entry shows the outcome and the key legal issue, from detention conditions and assurances to residence, sentence enforcement and procedure. The platform also has dedicated sections for CJEU and ECHR case law, plus articles and news on extradition and detention developments. Today the database indexes 649 cases from 102 countries, and it keeps growing. Extradition Hub is also an international network of specialist lawyers: practitioners who work on extradition, European Arrest Warrants or international criminal law can apply to become country contributors or submit a case to help others research faster. The project was founded and directed by Guido Stampanoni Bassi, a lawyer based in Milan.
