      Hey builders and Web3 enthusiasts,

I’m planning to launch an NFT marketplace focused on digital collectibles and want to ensure I’m aligning with current standards and future-ready practices. While the basics of token standards like ERC-721 and ERC-1155 are clear, I’d love insight into more advanced considerations—such as smart contract auditing, multi-chain support, royalty management, and gas optimization techniques.

From a tech stack perspective, is it still viable to go with Ethereum + IPFS, or are Layer 2s like Polygon or Arbitrum better suited for lower transaction costs and scalability? Also, are there proven frameworks or libraries (like Thirdweb, Moralis, or Hardhat) that helped accelerate your NFT marketplace development?

If you've integrated wallets like MetaMask, WalletConnect, or even fiat on-ramps, please share your experience. I’m especially interested in how you handled user onboarding, security, and NFT metadata management.

Would appreciate any insights, best practices, or tech tips that made your NFT project smoother!
