I wanted to ask this because I recently started testing different traffic sources for my online pharmacy campaigns, and Pharmacy Popunder Ads kept showing up in discussions. At first, I honestly ignored them because I thought popunder ads were outdated and probably annoying for users. I assumed people would instantly close them and never convert.

But after struggling with rising ad costs on other traffic sources, I started looking for something more affordable. My regular campaigns were bringing traffic, but the cost per conversion kept increasing, and it was becoming difficult to stay profitable. That’s when I decided to test popunder ads with a very small budget just to see what would happen.

      The Problems I Faced

My first campaign wasn’t great at all. I made the mistake of sending traffic directly to a product page, and most visitors bounced almost immediately. The traffic volume looked impressive, but conversions were very low.

I also realized that broad targeting was hurting performance. My ads were reaching too many people who weren’t actually interested in pharmacy-related products.

      What I Changed

Instead of giving up, I changed my landing page strategy. I created cleaner pages with fewer distractions and clearer product information. I also narrowed my targeting to specific regions where my offers performed better.

While researching ways to improve results, I came across this guide on Pharmacy Popunder Ads, and it gave me a few practical ideas that helped me improve campaign performance.

      What Actually Worked

The biggest lesson I learned was that popunder ads work better for volume and awareness rather than expecting instant direct sales. Once I added retargeting and improved my funnel, conversions became more consistent.

I also found that testing smaller campaigns first saved me from wasting larger budgets.

      My Honest Opinion

I don’t think pharmacy popunder ads are perfect for every campaign, but they can definitely work if used correctly. If your goal is cheap traffic and you’re willing to optimize your landing pages, they’re worth testing. Just don’t expect instant success without adjusting your funnel.
