I’m based near the DIFC and my Nissan Patrol’s battery is starting to show its age – slower crank in the mornings, and I know the UAE heat isn’t kind to them. I’ve been looking into an Amaron replacement since a friend recommended them for their heat resistance, but I want to make sure I get the right fit. It seems like the 55D23L is the correct size for my model, and I’ve been trying to find the leading Amaron 55D23L battery dealers near DIFC who can do a proper installation. Does anyone have recent experience with mobile fitters in this area? I’m hoping to find someone who stocks genuine units and can swing by the office parking lot without any hassle, preferably with a warranty that actually holds up if something goes wrong a year down the line. Also, do these Amaron batteries usually come with the terminals already set up for Japanese cars, or is that something I need to worry about? Cheers for any advice.

55D23L is the correct JIS format battery for a Nissan Patrol and Amaron units in this size come with terminals already configured for Japanese vehicles so no adapter or modification needed on your end.

Mobile services cover DIFC well during business hours and most carry 55D23L in stock since it is a common size for popular Japanese SUVs in the UAE. Call ahead to confirm availability before they head over rather than assuming.

Warranty holding up comes down to whether the sale is registered through the official system at point of purchase. Ask the technician to register it in front of you before they leave, that single step is what actually makes the warranty enforceable rather than just a piece of paper in the glovebox.

Slower morning crank on a Patrol that has been sitting overnight means the battery is losing charge retention rather than just being old. Worth asking the technician to run an alternator test alongside the replacement to confirm the charging system is healthy and not contributing to the drain.

Check the manufacturing date on the sealed box before they open it. A 55D23L that has been sitting in a hot van or warehouse for six months has already lost measurable capacity before installation, fresh stock from the last two to three months is what you want for full lifespan in this climate.
